what is BREEAM

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is a sustainability assessment method for buildings. It was first launched in the UK in 1990 and has since become a widely recognized and respected standard for sustainable building design and construction.

BREEAM assesses buildings based on a range of environmental and sustainability criteria, including energy and water use, materials sourcing and waste management, pollution and emissions, and health and well-being.
